Description of Outage

Users could not create ESign envelopes when attempting to use Recipient Emails with multiple subdomains (Example, email@ft.quikforms.com).


Affected Customers

REST API and Quik! App customers.


Cause of Outage

An update to the Quik! Forms Engine was released on 9/1 with the intention to ‘loosen’ the email validation rules within the ESign popup and inadvertently caused this issue.


Resolution and steps taken to prevent this from occurring in the future

The update causing this issue was rolled back at 5:00 PM CDT on 9/5/23.

A future release will include an improved email validation code.
